The Western Maryland Scenic Railroad trip from Cumberland to Frostburg is nothing short of spectacular. The scenery, the train, the staff - everything was first rate. Several riders even had their bikes on board for a downhill ride back to Cumberland! Fantastic!

It was a fun trip. The play was a little hokey but enjoyable. The food was ok but it was a fun adventure.

Murder mystery train ride was way overpriced. Dinner food was bad. No table cloths. Coffee in styrofoam cups. Badly appointed train car. No table service for alcohol. Long line at the bar. Shrill, uninteresting mystery. We expect alot better for $85 per person. Recomend this be avoided.

The WMSR is a tourist attraction drawing heavily from the Baltimore/DC area during peak seasons like October. They often substitute diesel engines for the lone steam engine.
