Four of us went there in may before memorial day, BEST time to go before it becomes crowded...the trails were were well marked and the falls were beautiful. beautiful trails and the falls were peaceful. It was awesome to be able to watch people kayak down the river (and smaller falls) from the trail and overlook rocks....

It's a gorgeous! state park.. hemlocks and rhododendron galore! and the falls :) .. make for a beautiful way to spend the day!

Lots of trails to walk on and it's nice and cool. I did not swim but sat in the shallow part with my friends baby while they swam down in the deeper part. It is very calm, relaxing and beautiful.

This a great place to go hiking along the river, view some cool rock formations, swim under the falls, and have a picnic with a scenic view. A perfect day trip or camping weekend!

We stopped to visit with our 13 year old son and were quite impressed. When entering the park, there is a small 3.00 per car charge, based on honor system which you put your donation in a box. Kids will love hiking around here and playing in the water

We have been enjoying this neat state park for 50 years. Nice hiking trail, and pure family fun. Seems to have few visitors.
