mid day during the week not crowded not too big not too small , these metal walker type things for beginners my daughter basically taught herself how to skate practicing w/ and w/ out it in a few hours . skate rentals a lil pricey . overall worth it more
If it is summertime and the weather is sunny and hot, you can skip this. Because why be indoors? It really is, in my opinion, a rainy day diversion. The Carousel ice skating rink was alot of fun! I didn't brave it but my 8 year old daughter did. It is real ice and it isn't too cold. People were wearing shorts and seemed fine. The skate rental and ice time were $5.00 if you are staying at the hotel. I think it was alittle more if you weren't... more
