Spent an afternoon here last week. Beautiful day, nice views of the coastline and marshes. Birds, Waterfowl. Good spot for hiking, photographing, or just sitting.

The view from Fort Hill is 270 degrees of oceanfront beauty! Had it not been for the Cape Cod National Seashore 50 years ago, this was to become a development of high priced houses for the wealthy! Now it is a treasure to be enjoyed by all who visit.

Triple-break and signal off of rte 6 hoping no one rear-ends you and make a right to Ft Hill. Pass Cptn Penniman's and some lucky soul's abode complete with basketball backboard with the smiley-face which my gpa pointed out to me when I was 2-am now 50! Proceed up the hill for amazing vista of Nauset Marshes and wondeful hikes....

Yes, it is beautiful here! I live at Fort Hill, I love it here. What I don't love is the people that drive by my house at 50 MPH when going up and down the hill! It may be a tourist attraction to you but it's our neighborhood. You wouldn't want me doing 50 MPH by your house with your...
