We were pretty much the only ones in the park when we went. One additional group joined the park after they saw us in the park. Very nice. Even when more than half the plants haven't bloomed, it was good. So imagine in its peak. Well worth the trip IMHO.

I would recommend a trip to Chappaquiddick Island to see this wonderfu garden; it was one of the highlights of our week on MV. Development of this Japanese-style garden began in the late 1950's by Hugh Jones, an Edgartown resident and architect of Japanese design, it is now owned by The Trustees of Reservations.
