It’s Brewpub features the brewery’s...... more » Cape Ann Brewing Company is an award-winning, family-owned, micro-brewery and the home of Fisherman's Brew. It’s Brewpub features the brewery’s award-winning craft beers brewed on-site, with a bar shaped like the port side of a ship. Long, German-style wooden tables and a sitting area with several rocking chairs create a mellow, laid-back atmosphere unlike anything else in the Cape Ann community. Classic board games are available for leisurely enjoyment. Local artist renderings adorn the wood-paneled walls and the large picture windows look out onto St. Peter’s Square where the famed St. Peter’s Fiesta is held each June. « less

Found out about this place by checking TripAdvisor before our trip to Gloucester with no reviews to go on except that it was a brewery and we like beer, but in the end... my boyfriend and I are so glad that we stopped by on 10/24/2009! Finally, a great place to come & enjoy good home brew & good folks. You won't find any of the riff raff some of the other downtown bars attract. There are a couple of TVs where you can route for your favorite Boston team & there are tons of board games, cards, & a ring swing game. They have somewhat... more
