This is a little gem of a beach with nice sand, no waves on Gloucester harbor in Stage Fort park. clear clean water and shade available in the afternoon.
The beach sits in Stage Fort Park. It is small, sandy and great for small children. On either side are gian rocks great for climbing. Behind the Beach is a giant tablet rock that reites the story of Gloucester (at least until 1907 when the tablet was dedicated).
A lovely big tree overhangs some of this beach, which is great for blazingly hot days. There's a lifeguard, and the beach is small enough that you can keep track of the kids without stress.
