Pleasantly surprised! We were looking for a place to go and the other Gloucester Beaches were packed (not to mention the others are $25 to park) This little Gem has a nice little covelike beach cut into a rocky shoreline. There is just a tiny sand beach here, which was shaded in the afternoon when we were there. Still, the kids had fun there. There was just a muddy open air shower to wash off on. There are also public bathrooms nearby. There are also some huge rocks to climb over, with stone staircases in them. There were even benches... more

Stage Fort Park is a tiny park on the ocean. It isn't a groomed park with flowers everywhere but rather a small strip of beach with boulders to climb on and rocks to explore with a few picnic tables scattered about under the trees.
