I grew up down the street from this lighthouse and it is one of my favorite places- all year long. It is also a fabulous place to watch the sunset. In the summer you can take a tour up to the top of the lighthouse and see all of Buzzard's Bay. I highly recommend it as the view is spectacular!

Fantastic old unmanned but functioning lighthouse, Ned's Point Light marks the mouth of Mattapoisett Harbor and the shallows off Ned's Point. Generally open for tours given by volunteers on Thursday mornings in July and Thursday afternoons in August. Great place to fly a kite on the lawn or fish from the rocks. A few BBQ pits and picnic tables at... More

Great location - great for the elderly too - you can enjoy the scenery right from the car.

We often go here for picnic lunches in the summer. If I'm riding my bike I often ride down here to circle the park..People often play frisbee or touch football here. The park is situated at the mouth of Mattapoisett harbor and has beautiful views all around.

The lighthouse is pretty cool. Its small, and conical. The park has many rocks along the water. There is a small beach on the eastern end of the park, which gently slopes into the water.
