I can't express how appalled I was by my visit today to Lookout Farm. I live in the general area but had not been for close to 10 years. We were looking for an apple picking orchard that had a few extras to entertain the kids, and headed to Lookout. I did not check prices on their website -- big... more

Weekends 14 bucks for adults, 12 bucks for kids (even a 4 yr old). Pick your own fruit an additional $2.50lb, 17 apples cost us 18 bucks (same apples 77cents per LB at grocery store). Pony rides an additional 5 bucks each. (Apparently you pay 12 bucks for kids to get the privelage to pick their own apples at a... more

First off: the other reviews that mention how expensive Lookout Farm is are absolutely correct. There's an admission fee for adults of $14 each, and children over 2 years pay $12. Then the "u-pick" fruit is $2.50/lb. The concessions at the kids' stop are, again, expensive. Then finally, the barn shop at the end of the day has lots of... more

awful. lookout farm used to be a great place to go. even after the belkin family took over and raised prices it was still great to visit during the week. up until this year you could visit the animals at the first barn without paying anything. there also was the store that had great gelato. i used to take my... more

This place is awful. It charges you just to get into the orchard. $14.00 entry fee (per person) Then they charge per pound for the apples. I would recommend going to Doe Orchards. Never go to Look out Farm. The name fits. Just look out for your wallet! more

Ok, where do I start? I have been wanting to go to Lookout Farm for a few years now because I know a couple of people who have gone. They did not rave about it, they just said they went and liked it, but they couldn’t give a lot of details because their kids were much older now and it... more

It's a nice place, but rather pricy. It's one of few U-pick farms that charges admission (14 for adults, 12 for kids / seniors). $2.50/lb for picked fruit. That's $52 admission for a family of four right there not counting the fruit. 20 lb will put you over $100. Most people we saw (including ourselves) will spend close to $100... more

I brought my family to pick apples at Lookout farm which is now under the new Belkin Family. It was very $$ to me since we are a family of 5. Cost per person is 10.00. This is only for the train ride to the orchard. It does not include apples. That is another 1.50 a pound...We picked Cortland apples... more

Worth a trip on a weekday or in lower season but to be avoided mid-day Saturday in high apple picking and pumpkin season!! I had to rate the farm neutrally because I believe it's great but, honestly, we could not get in. We waited ~20 minutes in bumper to bumper traffic on the tiny road leading from town only to... more

I have been a guest at the farm for many years. I did have concerns when the Belkin Family took the farm over but after this weekend I have to say..It is even better. The price did go up for the train ride but the apples are pure perfection. My children had a wonderful time at the kids playground and... more
