I had heard before that one of the best times to visit Marthas Vineyard was off-season, if you catch a nice weather. And that is exactly what my wife and I did. It was our first time on the island and after a few inquiries it was clear to us that the best way to see the place with a... More

Had it not been for an informative guide and taking this tour, I would never realized the beautiful landscape of this magical island, and not known that there are six distinct and different towns all having a personality of there own. Seeing homes and farms of prominent personalities just blew me away. Looking forward to a return tour

The business seems to go by 2-3 names: the card handed out on the street said "Martha's Vineyard Tours" - --------- The old school buses were hot and crampt. My knees were sore by the end of the trip. The bus driver talked so fast that no one could understand him. We asked him to slow down but he kept... More

Old crampt school bus - my knees were bruised by the time we were done. Bus drive talked so fast we could not understand what he said. We stopped him and asked him to slow down and he just got worse. Half way through the tour he invited a friend on the bus to give an informercial about his fish... More

we spent 2 and half hours listening to a dialogue that was almost unintelligible driving through woodlands with little to see. the driver was constantly sucking on sweets, smacking his mouth while talking at such a rate of knotts that most of the bus passengers could not follow what was said. Apart from a few views we saw very little... More

disapointed would be an understatement. It is really not worth the money, with little information from a guide who frankly should leave the island to save doing any further damage. I don't think he had one good thing to say about the vineyard. If you hired a jeep you would get to see the island at your own pace and... More

My husband and I joined this tour in Vineyard Haven upon arriving by Steamship Authority ferry. The bus driver took us to Oak Bluffs to meet up with another ferry and told us to meet him by the ferry terminal to depart for the tour at 10:15am. We walked around for about 30 minutes and then headed over to the... More

My wife and I only had one day to spend in Martha's Vineyard so we wanted to start with an island tour. We read the disappointing reviews. However, we were told this was the only island tour so we decided to take it anyway. First we were disappointed with the old school buses they provided. They weren't very comfortable and... More

I totally agree with the review that was written on August 25th! The tour was disappointing! I was so excited to take a tour of the island and hear a local tell the stories of the island! Instead the tour guide insulted the island by stating you don't want to hear boring facts about the island. And even said that... More
