Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This booth is situated by the main bus hub. They are helpful in guiding you to destinations on the island. They suggested rerouting us a couple of times, shortening our travel time. Their knowledge of the island was exceptional.

The outside of the booth had shelves filled with mainly island tour brochures. There is a person inside the booth that was helpful answering general questions.

We received maps and very useful information. I am not a big shopper....we would plan to arrive earlier next time, rent a car, and see the whole island....We enjoyed the stops our host told us to see...

A very helpful elderly gentleman gave very good advice in a friendly manner. The information centre is virtually facing you a few hundred yards from the ferry.

A quick little booth with lots of brochures available of things to do, places to eat, and stuff to sea on Martha's Vineyard. Helpful staff. Terrific location.

The person I talked to was very knowledgeable about a lot of stuff to do and see on the island, and had lots of maps and tour-related stuff. Close to where the boat docks as well. Worth the stop.

We will be in Boston for Thanksgiving week and was wondering if making a day trip to Martha's Vineyard would be possible?

Hi: My sister and I will be traveling together in May. We want to come to Martha's Vineyard for one day. It will be the week of Memorial Day, (5-29 thru 6-3) What day would you suggest to be the best to get to see many of the sights? Since we would only be there for one day, what would be the sights to be sure to see? What time would the first ferry to arrive to Martha's Vineyard be? What time is the last ferry off the island? Can you mail any information to me to look over before our trip? Thank you for any additional information you can provide.

There are numerous shuttles going to the island from various towns. We left from Falmouth, which is a beautiful little town, and went to Oak Bluffs. ( I would recommend this route). They leave for the island early 8-9 am and return around 6 or 7pm.
