The good: There's good space around the pool tables There's also darts, air hockey, and lots of gigantic flat screens with sports on. The pool tables, while poorly lit, aren't terrible. Although they could stand to be leveled better. I saw my ball move long after stopping several times. The bad: In a word, the Service, or lack thereof. Maybe it was the end of season...maybe it was the b-team...maybe it was just a cultural divide...most likely a combination of all three, but after some ridiculous 'service' from the bartender we decided to leave. Firstly the pool table didn't dispense all the balls, no problem it happens, went to the bartender to see what could be done. After waiting for him to leave the discussion he was having behind the (empty) bar, rather than help me, he directed me to ask the ' colored guy over there ' as he pointed over my shoulder... ( the other guy was nice though ) Second issue happened when I asked if he could put the Sox game on. This also required waiting for him to stop chatting in the back..but no prob his girlfriend who was eating takeout at the bar got his attention ( she was nice too ) His response : what channel is it on? When I didn't have an answer for him, he simply shrugged and walked away! IN Mass, IN a sports bar! I was so astonished it took me a few minutes to go back to pointedly ask why we were watching international hockey, Canada vs Europe ( they were nice too ) instead of the Sox, in September, in possibly a World Series year(!) When he again started making excuses and asked for the channel I simply said look it up on your phone, you are the sports bar, I'm just trying to help. Partly what happened here was a cultural divide as the bartender was of Eastern European origin, perhaps baseball isn't his cup of tea, but overall it was his attitude that stood in the way of basic good service. It's too bad that these folks can't seem to grasp that. Two other spots in OB were slammed that night, in mid September, and loft was nearly empty. We left without buying any drinks. It's going to be an expensive winter for these folks.

Dreamland is now called " the loft" and is upstairs from the MV chowder company and certainly has the best pizza on MV and we have tried them all. The pizza is one size , it's an over whelming 18" pizza. Fresh doe and the crust is fabulous . We usually get a mushroom and onion classic pizza which is out of this world. They have a variety of pizzas so choose wisely or make up your own . The mushroom and onion (18 inch ) with tax is 22.00 which isn't bad for the island and 4" larger than the rest of the pizza places which is about 14-16 inches. The wait staff and management customer service plus and when you go there have Alex wait on you, great guy and service plus. Great experience, great pizza, great customer service and this is why it's 5 star. By the way, they have pool tables, bar, games, and a fun and friendly atmosphere. Pizza is also take out or eat in.

Wondered into this place after dinner for two and had a blast. We got there relatively early (8:30pm) and it was almost empty. This was good news for us, as we were able to run a pool table for over an hour before it got busy.

Space is wide open with 6 pool tables, 3 dart boards, a ping pong area, 2 shuffle board tables, arcade games, large table games (think Jenga and Connect Four). There is a large projector TV that was showing the UFC pre-fights while we wandered about trying out the different games.

We left about 11:30 as the place really filled up and music got increasingly club-like. Mixed age crowd during our time there, but seems to turn younger (as expected) towards the end.

Bonus: Bartenders let us sample beers before ordering. Overall, a really fun night with a group of friends or on a date. Located on the 2nd floor above a restaurant. Not sure if it was handicap accessible or not.

Visited what I thought was one of the first nights the Loft was open. The space is very open with board games, darts, shuffleboard, pool, ping pong, fooseball among others.

The bar had a great selection of craft beer, with a great variation from around the country on tap and in bottles. Food was being served, plates looked large and portioned though I didn't order.

Crowd was a mix, a few dates, a lot of groups of friends, but overall a good mix of those in their 20s-30s. A great conversation/activities bar, but probably not the best place to dance.

Overall for a break from a traditional night out I'd go there. Although I foresee large crowds of single guys hanging out bromancing.
