On September 30, 2008, we rented bikes for the day and followed the loop through Beech Forest. It is hard to not stop and soak in the beautiful scenes. more
my husband and i have traveled all over the country birding...but we always end up here...it is wonderful all year long...and different every day...the resident birds will eat out of your hand especially in winter....but you can stay in your car and enjoy them as well........take the walk around the pond and be amazed at every turn more
I've hiked through the forest one both of my visits to Ptown. I fly into the little airport with my backpack, then hike about an hour and a half across the cape to the town. If you like hiking, traveling light, and taking the time to enjoy the surroundings, you should try this. There is a visitors center about half-way... more
