We paid $25 and would have been more entertained by a book or video. There wasn't much to see, as apparently all of the good stuff is on tour with National Geographic. What little was there tended to be either boring or gory. My seven year old did not like the recreations of dead bodies. My 7 year old son... more

I went to the museum late in June 2008. I had been wanting to visit the pirate museum close to where I live. It was a wonderful time. The artifacts on display were very intriguing. We came to the museum while we were waiting for our ferry back to Boston, since it is right on the wharf. Since we were conscious of having to catch the ferry, I guess I didn't concentrate so much on the exhibits. There were some interesting artifacts, including the pirate treasure.
