This is the place to go to learn all about the Cape Cod National Seashore. Don't miss a visit to the restored lifesaving station.

Province lands visitor center is a good place to learn about the area. The rangers can answer just about any question you have about Province lands and can also direct you as to what to see and where to go. They also have an observation deck on the top level of the visitor center. The views from here are amazing,... More

There are so many unexpected natural phenomena in the Province lands and th rangers at the visitor center can tell you all about them. Fresh water cranberry bogs in the middle of the dunes, breaches buoys for saving sailors on beached ships, who knew? The rangers. View the permanent exhibits. Chat with the rangers. Pick up a copy of their... More

Walk around the multi-level museum-like visitor center and get a taste for the wildlife you might be lucky enough to encounter during your visit to the tip of cape cod.

the best part was perhaps the 10 minute movie on the "ships of wood; men of iron", a history of the us life saving service before it became the coast guard.

The Sat Pond Visitior Center is definately the place to start your visit of the National Seashore and get oriented. One center is not better than the other as another review claimed as they both offer very different perspectives and histories of this vast and ever changing national resource. The Province Lands Visitor Center offers breathtaking views that have to... More

Since we already visited the NPS's visitor center in Salt Pond, we only stopped here for a quick stop before heading into Provincetown. Otherwise, this would be a great place to stop to get your orientation and information about the area. Anyway, it is worth the stop just to go up to its overlooking rooftop. I think this overlook provides... More
