I recently visited Cape Cod for the 1st time and was fortunate enough to take this Whale Watch trip. We saw 18 whales and were able to follow several pods through dives and resurfacing. The naturalist was very informative and interesting. One thing though - the boat has a professional videographer, which is great if you want your trip on... more

I first stepped on board the "original" Dolphin in 1957 as a teenager. We were fishing & enjoying that experience. A few years later my wife & I returned & discovered that the Dolphin ll was going out on whale watches. What a fantastic idea. That was our first of 28 trips on EVERY Dolphin ship. Fishing on the ORIGINAL... more

We took their sunset cruise (departure at 4:30pm) on Sept 3, 2009. It was a nice sunny day, so viewing back into provincetown was nice during departure. It took about slightly less than an hour before we hit the "whale location". There was an onboard expert to explain the history of the fleet, the area and some facts about whales... more

This was the highlight of our 9-day New England vacation by far. Of course, it helped that we were blessed with perfect weather, calm seas, and numerous up-close sightings of these massive creatures. The misses and my son each took Dramamine (happily supplied by the ship's crew, they commented that they wished more people would be proactive, not after the... more

I'm an aquarium addict, and was thrilled to get some first-hand viewing of these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. Dolphin Fleet was the most popular service, and offered the most number of outings a day, so we decided to book for an early afternoon whale watch. I'm glad that we did, as they sell out quickly, and I'd highly... more

We saw 12 humpbacks and one fin whale. Comfy boat, staff and marine bio. were great. We were SO close to the whales we could feel the spray from their blow spouts. The bio. on board had identified most of them - by name - and gave us ages and histories on the way back. During the feeding she just... more

I recently took my family (including 2 teenagers 13 & 15 yrs) and 2 adult friend on this whale watch. I have been on 2 other whale watches out of Boston but, never have I ever seen such beautiful whales so close. We were worried that the overcast sky would impede our viewing but, the whales were very active and... more

Whale watching is just awesome and the female PhD on this trip was more excited than we were; her enthusiasm was real and her love of these animals was infectious! The trip leaves the P-Town wharf several times a day (with dollar off coupons available in the free guide books found everywhere on Cape Cod. There are rates for seniors... more

. Posted on: 8:25 am,July 04, 2009 Save We have just returned from Cape Cod to the UK, we did the Dolphin fleet Whale Watch out of Provincetown and it was quite brilliant. We saw, and I do not exagerate, 17 different humpback whales!! The crew were just great, there was so much information and things handed around to look... more

This was the highlight of our trip. A definite must. Once we reached the whale area it was nonstop action. It was a rough day so do take the dramamine they give out for free when you board. It is a large boat that takes the swells well and I am prone to motion sickness and had no problem. The... more
