Been here a numerous occasions. The original village living history museum of the early to mid 19th century. For first time visitors to New England, make time for this attraction.

This is a great history-learning experience with people in period costumes, and period speech showing how things were done in the 1600's. The problem is a lack of people coming, so they have a hard time keeping everyone working. Volunteers are wonderful, but few. This is worth the stop, so spread the word.

Plenty of activity for kids and adults-clean, well organized, busy but didn't feel crowded

OSV is like Colonial Williamsburg but smaller and easier to navigate! History, animals and nature all within it's confines. Living history comes to life.

This is a great village for any age to enjoy. Massachusetts has so many wonderful places to visit and this should be high on the list for a family outing. Be sure to plan at least half a day.

As kids we always visited here on school trips. It was pretty educational, interactive and fun.

I try to make a visit every few years. Unfortunately because of the economy they've had to make some budget cuts, and they don't have as many artisans as formerly.
