Expansive views, osprey nest (with osprey). Can see small fish and crabs in the tidal streams under the boardwalk. No-see-ums abound if there is no breeze.

Been stopping by every year to take a stroll on the boardwalk where you can see birds and fish.

The beach is small and no waves. Large picnic area and playground. Small parking lot. Great boardwalk. Used to be for local residence, now everyone goes there. No secret anymore.

It's a small beach, not one of the Cape's best, but what it does have is an area where you can have parties or picnics and a lovely board walk.

Small beach, boat launch, plenty of free parking. Better for nature walks - check out the mile long wooden boardwalk that takes you out over the wetlands (Chase Garden Creek), launching kayaks or for families with small children. No waves, very flat protected from the open bay by Chapin Beach.

Gray's Beach is not your typical Cape Cod beach. It has a very small shoreline but there is a lot to do. There is a great boardwalk over the marsh and you can see a lot of different types of wildlife. A points during low tide you can catch all kinds of crabs (which will keep kids occupied for hours).... I discovered Gray's Beach many years ago while looking at houses in the area. I have been a frequent visitor there every year I go to the Cape. In addition to the natural beauty of the inlet, the beach is quiet and laid back unlike some of the others beaches on the "island" side of the Cape. My son "lived"... More

This is a great place for young kids-more of an inlet than a beach. It is easy to go for an hour or two because if you are visiting, the parking is free which is hard to find on the cape. The water was warm and shallow. My boys (5 & 6) had a blast collecting hermit crabs. It is... More

The long boardwalk at Gray's Beach in Yarmouth Port is one of my favorite places to photograph scenery, because no matter what time of day or what season, the scene is incredibly beautiful. In addition, it's so fun to peer over the boardwalk and watch the hermit crabs. If you go when it's dark, you can sometimes see the amazing... More
