The Schooner Appledore IV sails on public excursions, private charters, group tours, K-12 education programs, corporate team building, dinner cruises, and stargazer sails on Lake Huron’s Saginaw River and Saginaw Bay. All sails depart from downtown Bay City. Public Sails with lunch and historical narration are offered on Saturdays & Sundays 11:00am – 2:00pm. Dinner Cruises and Stargazer Sails are scheduled on Friday and Saturday evenings. Sail with us and experience beautiful Lake Huron from the deck of an 85ft. Tall Ship. Space is limited. Reservations required. Feeling more adventurous? Contact us about Windward Bound our weeklong youth Tall Ship training voyages -- your chance to leave the land behind and experience life on the Great Lakes!

Relaxing, fun, but definitely NOT sailing. It is a tale filled historic ride up and down the river but not a sailing adventure!
Comparing this adventure to sailing on the True Love in Watkins Glen NY is like comparing Apples and Oranges
