This is a beautiful park with camping. Many re-enactments for the history of the peninsula.

My wife grew up in Laurium, so we venture back quite often, and I try and see something new in the Keweenaw every time we head up there. So when we were there for Christmas this year, we decided to check out the Keweenaw National Historical Park. Well, we were a tad disappointed... that we didn't give ourselves enough time!... More

“Must see in the Keweenaw”

This visitor center has recently opened it's door to a new visitor center in a historic building in downtown Calumet. It has three floors of exhibits for people of all ages. And they are open in the winter which is great when visiting on snowmobiles.
