Some interesting things to see that border on the macabre like the chair Lincoln was sitting in when he was shot. But also things like the bus Rosa Parks was riding on when she refused to give up her seat. Be prepared to do a lot of walking. The variety of attractions is very confusing, but once you get past... I attended with a friend who has a guest pass...We went primarily to see the Titanic exhibit. We did not know that the Titanic exhibit was a separate "attraction" with another charge, and that you also have to purchase the Titanic ticket, with a specific time on it. All of those surprises were fine, as it allowed us to see... More

Stay in Comfort Inn, Dearborn, (very pleasant and quiet hotel) and visit the museum. There are a lot of things to be seen, not only cars. The most UNPLEASANT surprise is when they charge you at the box office ADDITIONAL 5.00 (five) DOLLARS for PARKING !!! It is just unexpected. You feel so stupid and taken advantage of. If it... More

This museum has a lot of potential. There were many unidentified items with no way to know what you were looking at. Often the interactive sort of things were broke, or an odd choice of a way to spend their money. Either this museum is in a decline or hopefully they are in the middle of making some major improvement.... More

Had a wonderful day with my 18 yr. old grandaughter at the Henry Ford Museum . We enjoyed the Titanic exhibit.... it's the romance in every woman. Following that person through those couple of days and finding out at the very END if they lived or died was genius on the part of the exhibitors. The Henry Ford is always... More

Went on a field trip here with a group of fifth graders. It was FANTASTIC! Some things they did not quite understand (Civil Defense Drill setup) but it was a great learning experience. Loved seeing all of the amazing exhibits and surprises that are held here!

Had a nice day trip to the HFM. Liked finding the vacation package to the Red Roof Inn including tickets to 2 attractions. One suggestion, we had tickets to both HFM and GFV, we spent the majority of our day at the HFM and did not go into GFV, we found out that as long as our GFV tickets had... More
