First vacation for our little guy and he had a great time! The staff at every attraction was eager to help. Bring your walking shoes because you will spend a lot of time on your feet. There is so much to see and you don't want to miss a thing. more

We are now members of The Henry Ford so that we can return as often as we like with our membership. There are always new exhibits and special events happening at both the Museum and the Village. We love to go at all times of the year to see the village. We especially enjoy the Civil War Events every Memorial... more

We had a GREAT time in the Henry Ford museum where America is housed in numerous collections of cars, farm equipment, clothing, Presidential Limosines, trains, airplanes, Rosa Park's bus, machinery, robotics, generators, and even a circular home made of aluminum and much, much more to mention to see!! Do not forget the gift shop inside the museum. Next, we visited... more

Travelers should definitely go out of their way to see the Henry Ford. It comes in a pair-the Village and the Museum. Attractions like Edison's Laboratory and the Wright Brothers bicycle shop with the Heinz house and Webster home are just a few of the attractions in the village, The museum has Lincoln's assasination chair and the limo President Kennedy... more

We visited the Henry Ford complex in August, 2009. My husband, I and our 3 teenagers had a GREAT time in the Henry Ford museum where America is housed in numerous collections of cars, farm equipment, clothing, Presidential Limosines, trains, airplanes, machinery, robotics, generators, and even a circular home made of aluminum! You simply cannot see it all in one... more

We so enjoyed the Henry Ford. Highlights for us included the massive Allegheny Locomotive, the Fuller designed Dymaxion House and the roadside neon. Exhibit areas Heroes of the Sky and the Automobile in American Life are not to be missed. You can easily spend the day at the Ford alone. We did. Leaving us to enjoy Greenfield Village the next... more

Apparently this is the most visited attraction in Michigan. I'm shocked. Let me save you all some trouble and tell you STAY AWAY. A history textbook is cheaper and more interesting than a visit here. If you want to visit Michigan I recommend Mackinaw Island instead. more

Everyone should visit this complex once in their lifetime. The history that is before you is phenomenal. My two daughter who are 18 and 11 are typical teens and they get bored every easily. Not during this trip! Our girls were totally entertained and they retained many of informative facts and tidbits the guides provided to them. The guides at... more

One of my favorite museums. We spent our last day in Michigan there and wish we had gone there first. There is so much to see that one could easily spend 2 days there. My son said, "It is like being in a history book." That is what Henry Ford wanted. more

Our family was at the Henry Ford in July. We had two boys aged 10 and 6 and we all really had fun, especially at Greenfield Village. We did Greenfield Village the first day, arriving about 9:30 and left about 4 PM because we were rather hot and tired. We missed huge portions of the Village, but enjoyed everything. The... more
