This has some great history, how the drive and ambition of a single man could create such a huge manufacturing complex; but it also has a lot of modern day Ford and the commitment to the environment; really made me want to go out and buy a Ford. more

What shocked me was how clean and quiet the whole assembly process was. The elevated walkways let us see the assembly process, but kept me from worrying about being in the way or in dangerous territory. The green roof was also a favorite of mine. Great piece of American history and economy. more

This tour starts with 2 films: one gives a history of the rouge plant (an amazing achievement of it's time) including the labor troubles (somewhat surprisingly).
