I went here with a fellow student. We are in the medical field and thought it would be interesting to see the Our Body exhibit. I didn't expect it to be so big. It was very nice with lots of things to do for the whole family. The exhibit was wonderful; the whole science center was great. more

Have children 7 and 9 who cannot get enough of this place. Rotating exhibits keep them interested every visit. The downside was that during the two open (free) presentations that we attended many of the vocabulary words were above their level. We took a day trip to the Detroit Science Center and were highly disappointed. The General admission included very few exhibits none that we found of much interest. The Imax shows were all seperately priced as much as $14.00. The trip to get to the center took us through very poorly marked roads in extremely undesirable neighborhoods.I definatly would not... more

Was at the Grand Opening of the Science Center. Lots of people there. Free admission that day. Basement has hands on displays specifically for the children. Lots of colorful lighting through out the museum. Nice theater. Plan to return Christmas week of 2002 with 3 boys ages 3,6, and 8. Parking is close to the building. Art museum and Detroit... more
