Great place to see world famous works of art and traveling exhibits. Friends of Modern Art movie nights and the annual Flint Art Fair are must sees.

We were there for the Chihuly glass exhibit and it was an excellent but different from what I expected. Not as much of the hanging exhibits and more of his early stuff.

What a great place! Saturday's are free thanks to Target. My Dad was able to get a wheelchair without bringing his in. They even have a coat check!

It's colorful~ And full of art~ What more could you ask for? Why are you still sitting at this computer? Haul your sorry bum off to this museum because it DESERVES your attention!

Target sponsors "Target Free Saturdays" through their corporate giving program. The good news: you can see the featured exhibits for free. The bad news: popular exhibits can sometimes be crowded. Flint has an art museum? Of course they do! And a pretty good museum with lots of variety on a beautiful campus. The collection includes several rooms of ancient art, and a large room with medieval rugs and furniture.
