This restored lighthouse is open to visitors in the summer. There is even an apartment that may be rented by the week. As one would expect with a lighthouse, the view is spectacuclar. It may be the most photographed lighthouse in Michigan.

There is something magical and mysterious about lighthouses--Point Betsie is something special. Lovingly restored with a great gift shop. The beach is spectacular.

Not hard to find but leave the RV at home or in town. Best time to go was Friday morning since they open up at 10:00 for tours.
