This is one of the special river systems in Michigan and the U.S. for fishing, canoeing, kayaking and fun. I have enjoyed the main stream and it feeder river system for over 60 years.

This is a great fishing area! There are many good fishing spots along the entire length of the Marquette River.

I will be heading up to the Pere Marquette River tomorrow to do some salmon fishing. reports say they are in there,they are big, and I'm hoping to limit out!!! I will give a full report w/ pic's a.s.a.p. Bill " In the Detroit area"
