A little over a mile out is one of Lk MI most beautiful lighthouses. It is a fantastic walk full of wildlife. It is and easy walk on flat paved trail but the lighthouse is fantastic and right on the gorgeous shores of Lk MI!

The light house is located away from where the dunes are. Its worth the trip if you are visiting the dunes.

This is a wonderful place to visit that will stick with you and make you want to come back. Access is difficult. There are not many lighthouses left in America that you can walk to the top of, and this is one of them. It is worth a visit, and if you get a chance, the gift shop is pretty cute too.

It is a great hike experience from the state part to the lighthouse. A little over 2 miles in the sand along the shore. You'll see stuff that is unique to the area and makes for a beautifull, panoramic view of the lake and shoreline from that vantagepoint.

Great view from the top of the lighthouse. It was super windy that the day we went. Narrow steps where you can only pass on the landings.

Riding in a boat in Lake Michigan and going past this Lighthouse is really enjoyable. I have not visited the lighthouse,per se, but I have heard it's great!

Nicely restored/maintained lighthouse. About 2 miles hike from the Ludington State Park parking lot. Nice winter hike.
