White Pine Village is a massive disappointment. There's just not much here and it seems to be haphazardly put together. My family literally wandered through this place in 45 minutes. We love history and there just wasn't much here. It really is a poor man's greenfield village.

A great place to visit in the summer. No trip to Ludington is complete without it. Kids love this place!

Very interesting! Always something going on at the village, takes you back to the "olden days". They are always adding more buildings, a lot to see!

History at its finest, with a selection of artifacts and beautiful surroundings. Just 5 miles out of town, this village represents a collection of buildings that depict life from yesteryear in a quaint setting. It reminded me of "Greenfield Village" in Dearborn Mi. not as large, but well represented. Loved the school, general store, farmhouse and ice cream parlor, all... More

Truly a history lesson you walk through! You're bound to see countless things you've never seen up close and in person before as you wonder through the old settlement buildings (over 25 of them total). Some are authentic and have been relocated, some original on the original ground (atleast was my understanding) and then some are exact replicas of what... More

The best part is they allow well behaved dogs not just in the park but inside the buildings. Try THAT at your local museum. We bought the booklet that describes the different buildings when we paid our admission. Its well worth the $2 to have that in hand as you go through. We were there on a weekday and there... More

We had plans for a lot of outdoor activities for the weekend, but woke up Saturday to a steady drizzle left over from the previous night. So we headed to the White Pine Village - I figured that at least within the buildings we would have shelter from the rain, and something to do on a rainy Saturday morning. We... More

Thi lovely little villag includes a whole community of buildings presenting Mason County's history. Its a self guided tour, with some interpretors on the site, such as at the blacksmith shop. You'll find the walk easy, and the sites are well maintained. We would have liked to see some more interpretive signs describing some of the rooms we saw in... More
