If you like Williamsburg, VA you will find this, and the other completely original structures on Mackinac Island, delightful. Plan on spending the night at Stonecliffe, the Island House, or the Iroquois. After the last ferry leaves you will find yourself back in the 19th century for, probably, the first time in your life. “I knew more history of the Biddles than the people giving the tour.”

Visit of the Biddle House was interesting, but I knew quite a bit more history of the Biddles, being a descendent of the Biddles. What few questions I did have, they could not answer. I love history and was very discouraged that I could not learn much more here.

Visited this home as it was included with Fort ticket. Asked a few store clerks for directions without success. I recently visited Mackinac Island and toured the fort there. Included in the ticket was a tour of other attractions. My niece is married to a BITTLE so thought it would be interesting to visit the BIDDLE House(included in the ticket) as the names are similar.
