We had really good guides throughout the three stop tour (we heard others did not). The Butterfly Conservatory, Arch Rock, Fort Mackinac and Mackinac State Park were beautiful! It was defintely one of the best parts of our trip! more

We recently took the tour and found it really boring. It's more for the 65+ crowd. I took the tour 15 years ago and found it more interesting. I come to the island every year for the Lilac Festival and I adore the carriage tours. It gives you a chance to sit & relax as well as see things you normally wouldn't see by walking. if you want to see all aspects of the island & hear some interesting & funny stories then you must take a carriage tour. They are pricey, but well worth it. This tour is divided into 2 parts. The horses need the rest & time to get water on a HOT day. The first part was from the road by the ferry.
