This free Art Iron road/trail side attraction East of Marqette can be fun for everyone. The creativity in scrap metal and over all friendlyness of the site is great. Lakenen Land is fantastic!! I can't believe there is no charge to view this wonderful site. If time is spent studying the art there are tremendous educational lessons in history, unions, current events, and political satire not to mention the technical skills used to create these pieces. This is just a plain old fun place to visit. Great for kids. All sorts of sculptures and right next to the snowmobile trail! Check it out if you have time! more
We loved the park! It was a welcome respite from snowmobiling and it was right on the trail! While traveling along M-28 between Munising and Marquette there's a unique road side attraction know as Lakenland.
