We took a tour, first thing on Friday morning, so there were only two jeeps plus the lead jeep with Bill at the wheel. The next trip out was more heavily booked. Glad we went then.

We did the one hour tour on the dunes. We were very lucky and did the 10 a.m. tour and ended up being the only Jeep with the tour guide. It was so much fun for our kids ages 9 & 10. It is clearly a thrill for the entire family. I would suggest doing this tour before walking around...

This was our first visit to the dunes in Michigan. We decided to splurge ($125) and take a jeep tour with Parrot's Landing. I would highly recommend the hour tour if you have never experience this before. We did things on the dunes that we would have never done out there by ourselves. Pete,our guide, was AWESOME!
