Fascinating presentation of the history, mythology, and culture of Michigan's Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe. I had never been particularly interested in such matters, but one visit to this museum changed all that. Definitely worthy of repeat visits and an excellent destination when cabin fever strikes during one of those long, cold Michigan winters, especially because entry is free!

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe has left no detail unturned. From the architecture of the building itself to everything inside, it all has meaning. The permanent exhibit warrants visits and revisits, and the changing exhibit is continually fresh and new.
Of course everyone comes to the area for the casino (which is also well worth the trip), but the Ziibiwing...

Most visitors come for the nearby casino and do not glance in the direction of this attractive building just to the south of the hotel-casino complex. It is worth repeated visits.
