Loved the little movie room, the displays were good, and just being inside a big ship is pretty neat to see the inner workings.

If you are in to history, maritime lore, or just a good view, the Valley Camp is a must see.

You're walking in and on a massive freighter which is docked next to the marina. Filled with great artifacts.

Buy the admission to this and the Tower of History combo. Enjoyed seeing the history and the inner workings of the boat. Plan at least two to three hours to get the true experience.

Went with wife & 2 children,12 & 8. Was not expecting all the excellent displays on this ship. Almost the entire cargo hold on 2 levels has exhibits relating to Great Lakes shipping. While this initially struck us as a little pricey - $30 for two adults and two small children (our youngest was free) - that impression quickly faded away once we began wending our way through the ship. It's not merely a unique opportunity to get to walk through an actual retired Great Lakes freighter, it's a very well-done educational experience... More

Just being able to go on an actual freighter was worth admission. The exhibits in this hollowed-out decommissioned ship were very interesting. Be sure to check out the bottom level, with uneven floors due to years of ore pellets.

This place is not only massive but amazing as well. My mother, father, niece and I visited the last day of our Sault Ste. Marie trip. We all found it to be very cool.
