The raclette cheese is amazing. The wine is so-so. It's always a nice beautiful view at Black Star.

This is a larger tasting room, however it still feels inviting. The staff was very helpful and the wine was excellent. On our next trip, my wife and I will likely stay at the Inn also located here. We purchased several bottle of wine after tasting the offerings. As with most places, it is $5 for five tastings and you... More

Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Did the five for $5 tasting. Picked up two Rieslings which were our favorites. Most wines were between $15-20 a bottle. This is the choice winery on Old Mission Point.

There are lots of good wineries in northern Michigan, but this one really stands out above the rest for their quality of wines and fresh cheese too. It's more than just an vineyard, it's a real farm.

They have a large Tasting Room, a gift store, a little market with local products and it's also a beautiful B&B (great place to have a wedding or special event). They make a specialty cheese, too. They also have a small petting... More

Been there twice, old crackers on the bar, wines not too tasty, it looks dusty in there. I am never comfortable when there and have to leave sooner than planned. Great cheese, however

I'm partially to sweeter wines, and Black Star's Late Harvest Riesling is like candy. I also enjoy their raspberry Sirius Dessert Wine.
