Giving this an Excellent because, well, it is a great trail, but on this trip we basically had it to ourselves. A little odd since it's so popular, but it was cool and romantic to be strolling along on 'our own' trail for the morning.

Great bike trail. We put in at Welsh Village, which gives you the option of going to Cannon Falls or Redwing. Slightly up hill grade to Cannon Falls, downward to Redwing form there. Weekdays are the best time to go, particularly with kids. Weekends are busier, particularly during the fall. Highly suggest.
