Located about twenty miles west of Minneapolis, the Landscape Arboretum is a very large outdoor space perfect for an afternoon outside. There is a new visitor center with exhibits and a cafe near the entrance. For seeing the remainder of the grounds, visitors can walk, drive, or board the tram. I recommend walking for those who are able. The road... more

Unfortunately, I visited this arboretum before the trees were in full bloom on the last day of April. I'm sure it would've been a nicer experience if all the leaves were on the trees and the flowers were blooming. It was a nice day, though, and the walk was nice. No tram tours going out and the 3 mile drive... more
