The aquarium disappointed me. They charge $14.50 for adults and it's about a 20 minute walk through. There were some neat fish like the new seahorse display but that's about it. I guess I was expecting a greater display for the price they were charging. Don't waste your time and see something else. more

I stop by every time I'm in Duluth (at least twice a year). I've even ducked in for just the last half-hour of opening hours (though they were nice enough to stay open another 40 minutes past closing for all remaining visitors). Why? Because it's more than fish in a tank (though there are many fish, including huge sturgeon, and... more

On a trip with some friend we decided to stop at the aquarium. It is a little on the expensive side but worth it. I like to stay at every area more than most, so i see some of the stuff they miss. There are eagles, otters, and my favorite a whole room of different sea-horses. On another level there... more

Don't listen to the nagging reviewers, most of whom probably would not like any aquarium. This is a pretty well designed attraction (but it is pricey). There's a wealth of interesting information here, and i (and my kids) learned a great deal about Lake Superior and animal life in the area. Feeding the otters is a huge crowd-pleaser, so don't... more

I think it is an Ok place to spend 1 hour when you could not go outdoor and you have a young kid. The whole place is small and terribly disorganized. For example, there is only ONE sign pointing to the restroom. It took me five minutes going up/down the elvator, asking the front desk and found it. Had they... more

We couldn't check into our hotel, for a few hours, so we decided to go to the Aquarium, and quite enjoyed our visit. My teens and I had fun playing in the water by the Great Lakes model. There was a seahorse display that we enjoyed also, that was a special thing. The birds were cool and I loved seeing... more

I just visited Great Lakes Aquarium for the first time and it was incredible! I have been to several other aquariums but this place was so much more than just fish! LOTS to see, do & touch. My 10-year old was in paradise! Make sure to "catch" (haha) the Dive Show in the big "Isle Royale" tank - its definately... more

What a disappointment this place was. Most of the computer interactive offerings were not working. There aren't that many fish or animals in this place. It was a nice building with a great view of the inner part of Lake Superior and the arial bridge. That was it. The special exhibit " the abyss" was the best part. Although it... more

I love Aquariums, so don't get me wrong, but it was just ok. First, it isn't really that many animals there to see. Second, there weren't very many cool animals to see. Third, while in there we saw a film I think called "The Abyss." It was like 2 mins long and it was the most advertised thing there except... more
