Situated on a wooded lot, the mansion boasts spectacular views of Lake Superior. « less

This casino was really just plain gross. It was stinky and smoky and the entire first floor seemed to be penny slots. We played $1 and left -- I think my coat still smells. more

Don't bother. Tight machines, rude employee's, dangerous neighborhood. Fond du Luth Casino has not gotten any better since the last review. In fact, it has gotten worse. The band of Indians that run the casino have refused to pay the city it's cut for allowing it to be in downtown Duluth and not on an Indian reservation. I think they... more

This place must be getting better. (I noticed the bad reviews only seem to be from Duluth residents - which from experience tells me they aren't visitors but probably ticked-off regulars) I visited while dropping my son off at school. It's right downtown, very close to the hotel. I found that the waitresses were really nice, and always ready to... more

This casino was really neat. It was small but had new and fun games to choose from. I didn't like the parking situation downtown and how smoky the casino is. I am a smoker and it was even bothering me. The waitresses were nice and came around often for beverages. I would have loved to spend more time there! more

I used to go here just to play blackjack. If you like slots I personally can't even give an opinion but my parents never won much of anything here. I can however say the blackjack dealers and cocktail waitresses were friendly. I usually tip well so this could be a compelling reason for friendliness (of lack of it). I also... more

I've been to casinos in 3 different states (La, MS, and In). This, from the outside, seemed to be nothing but a building downtown that had a rundown sign that said casino. I couldn't believe I had actually heard of such a place before. If they spent as much on running the casino as they did on advertisement, it might... more

You shouldn't judge a book by its cover, and that holds true with the Fond-du-Luth Casino in downtown Duluth. The old and tired black exterior à la 1980's Miami Vice is actually far nicer than the smokey, stale interior. Do yourself a favor, instead of wasting your time and money at the Fond-du-Luth, see a movie, go to dinner, or... more

I enjoy going to a good casino and playing the slots. As a Duluth local I feel it is fair to warn visitors about this casino. The last review was being honest. All the staff does is stand around. Forget getting you machine filled with change if it runs out. I waisted most of my time there waiting to get... more

this casino proves to be the worst in the state maybe the whole country. They have very rude employees.Finding someone for change is hard to do.Most stand around doing nothing.and the odds of wining any kind of pay out are almost nil.And if you do win you should feel lucky because it don't happen that much. You can sit almost a half... more
