The Walker is an outstanding building. Unfortunately, one has to ask who is kidding who with respect to the art displayed. Luckily, we went on Thurs evening when it is free. I thought it was really interesting to see that someoene wrote that the art in the gallery is disturbing. Yes, some of it is, but why is that a negative? It is a very provocative gallery and it displays alot of pop art. If you want something more classical, go to MIA if you want to see more 'cutting edge'... more

I thoroughly agree with the two previous reviewers who said that this was a waste of a nice building and that the art was disturbing. The Walker Art Center gets a lot of great publicity, and since I love art, I made it a point to go. I couldn't wait to leave. more

You will be dissapoited if you go there hoping to see good art, they don't even have much of a variety of bad art. Waste of time, money, and frankly, a waste of a nice building. more
The best part of the Walker is free: the sculpture garden just north of the building is very good, and has a number of interesting pieces on display, as well as a small conservatory.
