Rugged, elegant backdrop to the flowing Mississippi River

Great green space in the city and a little way to learn some history.

If you get a chance to visit, spend some time in the ruins parks on both sides of the bridge. I've been living in Minneapolis for almost 20 years now, and never get sick of going there. The bridge itself can be a little crowded at times, but its never really an issue.

If you are visiting msp, take a walk down to st. Anthony main and the stone arc bridge. Have a coffee and a glass of wine,

I love the Stone Arch Bridge. It is in such a great spot in Minneapolis, right between the old mill districts and just south of St. Anthony falls (the largest drop on the whole Mississippi). If you are kayaking under, biking, running, walking over, the bridge offers great views and looks completely unique.

A beautiful and graceful span, with arches evocative of the best of Roman architecture, but built of local limestone.

Walk the interpretive trails from one side of the Mississippi to the other. This heritage bridge was once home to trains!

Great views of the Mississippi, and downtown, a relaxing walk, cycle, or trolley bus ride across. Always open and a joy to look at.

This bridge is beautiful over the river. It is filled with dog walkers, jiggers and cyclists(no motorized vehicles). Situated in the old factory district which in itself is just really cool. Take your camera!!
