I would definitley not suggest wasting your time or money at First Ave. Though I love music and concerts as much as anyone else, it simply is not worth the rudeness you will encounter from the doormen, manager, bouncers, etc. I went there last night and was not allowed in and am now out $36. If you are traveling to the twin cities and have the opportunity to take in a show at 1st Ave do it! This should be ranked as one of the top things to do in Minneapolis because it is such a great venue. A friend accidentally washed her stamp off at a sold-out, all ages show and they refused to let her back in. It was ridiculous - she had even checked her coat and had the ticket to show that she had already been inside.
