Lake Harriet in general has and will most likely remain to be one of my favorite places to go and also introduce people to. I usually journey there at night because there is less people and noise. Walking the gardens with no one else around is the most calming/spiritual experiences I've ever endured. I highly recommend it to anyone and... more

This rose garden is absolutely beautiful. A must see if you like botanical gardens. The scenery and mansions around the area are an added bonus for some of the architectural features. You can take a nice stroll around lake Harriet while you're there. Pleasant evening activity. more

Lake Harriet Rose Garden is gorgeous. Whether walking the dog, reading a book, or riding your bike, stop and smell the roses. But keep in mind that the Minneapolis-St Paul airport is relatively nearby. The regular zoom of incoming planes really dampens the serenity of the Rose Garden. more
