“Ghetto getaway for getting awesome”

This is a great beach tucked away in a ghetto neighborhood. Walking path around lake is perfect for 5k training. Great for kids, picnics.

The beach itself is large and has good sand. The lake is a little low, which means the beach is even larger now. The water depth almost out to the first buoy is very shallow and perfect for kids. There aren't many weeds either. The problem I had was w/the lifeguards - basically they start the day w/5 minutes of... More
