We stopped here at random, thinking it might be a mini-golf course. Instead it was a much more interesting living sculpture garden than the one in our hometown of Minneapolis! Move over Spoon and Cherry, Franconia has a suspended house!

my family has passed this place a million times on our way to wisconsin, one day 2 years ago, we stopped there finally. I now go often, 4 times a year about, and it's always changing. I love it. the cool dr seuss type playground rules. I love it. I tend to take random friends to this throughout the year,...

My family and I adore visiting this open air, modern sculpture park. The installations often change, the children can run through the park and touch many of the sculptures. There is ample parking, clean restrooms, and admission is free. I would recommend packing a picnic lunch and spending a couple of hours there.
The Franconia Sculpture Park is one of those off-the-beaten-path type of places, but it is not exactly off-the-beaten-path. Artists from all over the country enjoy fellowships and internships here building intricate and large outdoor sculptures. You will see...
