There was no scenery. The employees were friendly but provide little information about railroad. Don't waste your money.

This was a wonderful trip. The scenery was beautiful. It was such a peaceful ride. The dialogue that was given on the trip was so helpful in understanding the trip. I would recommend this to anyone-especially families. We had our elderly mothers and they still have not stopped talking about it. $25 can't be beat.

It was basically a train ride in a train through 20 miles of woods. A little narration on the first half and music. Only music on the return 20 miles. The organizers missed a wonderful opportunity to tell Ozark Mountain stories, Mark Twain stories, etc. The train was not properly air conditioned and everyone was uncomfortable with the temperature. We... More

This is strictly for railway buffs. The 2-hour train ride takes you 20 miles out of Branson, either north or south, depending on freight traffic on that line. While a pleasant trip, the scenery is nothing spectacular: you get more scenic views touring by car. This RR ride would probably be worthwhile in the fall, when the forested Ozark hillsides... More

It is really neat for kids! Not something you probably want to do more than once because you see a lot of trees, but it was worth the price paid for the kids to experience it!

I rode the Branson Scenic Railways earlier today with my wife and kids. We didn't have high expectations, we were just hoping to see some attractive scenery and have some kind of "train" experience. The experience was not unpleasant, it was just extremely boring. There is a narrator who provides some history of the cars in the train as well... More

This was a very relaxing a pleasent ride through the mountian side. Because we boarded in the first group we were able to ride in the top of the dome car, that had AC ( they only have two domes available and only one had AC) which greatly improved our experince. If you book a reservation you will be in... More

For the cost of this train ride we could have gone to another show while in Branson. I love scenic tours but the way the tracks sit on this route you are kind of riding in a gulley with walls on both sides and the views are not that great. There are some spots where you can see the countryside... More

Very peaceful, enjoyed the ride. Kids loved it! Loved the tunnel it went through. I wish it did a loop instead of going 25 miles out and then going backwards the same way.

Was a little disappointed in the ride. The scenery along the way was not that appealing.
