“Some of the best Trout fishing anywhere”

Thanks to the diligent work by the Missouri Department of Conservation Taneycomo is one of the best trout fisheries that can be found anywhere. Not to mention it is a beautiful, clear lake. However don't bring your skis. The temperatures stay in the 45-50 degree range year round.

My husband and sons, really enjoy fishing for trout on Lake Taneycomo. If we had a boat I'd probably join them. Waders and I just don't get along.

If you like trout fishing this is the place. We always rent a boat from Scottys Trout Dock right below the bridge. Tell Lamar I said hello.

“Visited the lake as part of the Duck tour”

We road the duck amphibious vehicle around the lake. It was ok. Nothing really special in my opinion.
