It is nice that they have kept his family's farm preserved. A great piece of history of one of our president's family history.

It's the Truman farmhome that he loved so much. But today it's surrounded by businesses and it's like an anachronism, stuck in time. But if you have any interest in Mr. Truman, this is a must stop place. It's well kept, well maintained by the NPS, the staff knows their stuff, and it's worth hopping off US 71 to pay... More

We visited the Harry S. Truman Farm home as a family. I actually enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. Even our kids enjoyed it. This is a relatively new historic site. In 1994 Congress voted to include it as part of the Harry S. Truman National Historic site. It was once a 600 acre farm belonging to Truman's grandparents.
