If you want fresh produce, go to the city market where it is plentiful and inexpensive! (Those of us from smaller cities can appreciate the depth and breadth of this market) This is a big city with a big city market. City Market is an experience not to be missed when visiting Kansas City. On Saturday mornings it is an ecletic mix of different kinds of foods, people, music, and culture.
